Chicago Watches the Bears

It’s probably no surprise that Sunday’s broadcast of the Bears vs. the Saints was watched by a lot of Chicagoans. But just how many Chicagoans watched the game? Consider this … The game drew a 46.1 rating and a 74 share. That means almost 75% of all the TVs that were turned on were tuned to the Bears game, and almost half of all the TV households in Chicago were watching the Bears. That’s huge.

Nationally, the game did a 25.1/45 in the Nielsen overnights. The game averaged 43.2 million viewers, making it the most watched NFC Championship game in years.
